Ethiopian Shines at AFRAA 57th Annual General Assembly with Multiple Prestigious Awards

Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s leading carrier, has received multiple prestigious awards at the African Airlines Association (AFRAA) 57th Annual General Assembly held in Luanda, Angola. These Award reaffirm the airline’s leadership, resilience, and outstanding contribution to the advancement of African aviation.

Ethiopian took the awards for: -

-      Airline of the Year for Best Profitability Global Operations for the Year 2024.

-      Airline of the Year for Best Improved in Intra Africa Connectivity for the Year 2024.

-      Outstanding Service Award for significant contribution to the African Aviation Industry for the year 2024.

-      Distinguished Service Award in recognition of Ethiopian Airlines’ support as a pioneer airline in the Free Route Airspace Project in Africa, thereby making a significant contribution to the advancement of African aviation.
