Meet Africa’s First Ethiopian Airbus A350 XWB in Nairobi - 13 July , 2016

Africa’s first and the most technologically advanced aircraft Airbus A350 XWB dubbed “Simien Mountains”, has touched down in Nairobi, Kenya.

Nairobi, the Capital and the largest city in Kenya, is among Ethiopian destinations such as Lagos, Dubai, Kinshasa, Dar es Salaam and Jeddah that have been served by this cutting-edge technology fleet since its arrival on June 29, 2016. Ethiopian, with its Pan African mission of connecting Africa together and to the rest of the world, currently serves 51 African cities, from which Nairobi is one of them with 28 weekly scheduled flights.

Passengers to Nairobi have enjoyed the extra features of this latest technology aircraft ahead of other major destinations in Europe, the Americas and Asia. The aircraft provides passengers extra comfort with its wider seats in both Business and Economy classes, the lowest twin engine noise level, advanced air conditioning technology, full LED mood lighting and in-flight entertainment system

Ethiopian will soon deploy the A350 XWB on its long haul flights to Washington D.C, Toronto and others.
