Kigali and Bujumbura warmly welcomed Africa’s first Ethiopian Airbus A350 - 19 July, 2016

The latest generation, most comfortable and efficient wide body airliner, Africa’s first Ethiopian Airbus A350 XWB, has continued its first operation to different Ethiopian destinations. It has landed in Kigali-Rwanda and Bujumbura-Burundi on July 19, 2016.

The flight is part of Ethiopian’s commitment to deliver exceptional level of service to the African market by operating this leading-edge technology aircraft.

Ethiopian started its services to these two destinations in 1970’s and currently has twice daily flight to Kigali and daily flight to Bujumbura.

Passengers were enjoying the aircraft’s astonishing features of cabin spaciousness, higher ceilings, larger windows, wide seats and more space at shoulder level due to straight sidewalls, innovative mood lighting, next generation HD in-flight entertainment and 221-inch fuselage cross-section which was designed for an optimum travel comfort in all classes of service.

Ethiopian has additional 13 Airbus firm orders and it  will be receiving the second Airbus in the coming few months.
