Ethiopian Suspends Services to Blantyre International Airport on Runway Maintenance - 19 March, 2014

Due to the runway maintenance works at Blantyre Chileka International Airport Ethiopian will temporarily suspend its operation to/from the subject destination from March 18, 2014 until airport service resumes. We would like to apologize for any irregularities and inconveniences you might encounter as a result of this move. We will advise new developments in due course.

  • Passengers affected may change travel date for tickets issued before March 17, 2014 and planned travel from 17 March to April 1, 2014 once free of charge.
  • Those passengers canceling travel are entitled with a full refund.
  • Partially used tickets will also be refunded for their unused value.
