Ethiopian Signs Code Share Agreement with Asiana Airlines - 29 August, 2011

Ethiopian Airlines, the fastest growing African airline, has signed a code share agreement with Asiana Airlines, the award winning South Korean airline, enhancing the growing cooperation with Star Alliance member carriers. The new partnership between Ethiopian and Asiana will provide our global passengers with more flight options and better connections between Africa and Asia.

According to the agreement, the two carriers will cooperate on code share flights between Seoul, Hong Kong and Addis Ababa.

Mr. Tewolde Gebremariam, CEO of Ethiopian Airlines said, "We are delighted to expand our cooperation with Asiana Airlines, one of the main players in Asia and the code share will enhance faster and seamless connectivity to our passengers between Seoul, Hong Kong and 40 African destinations."

The four weekly code share flights have commenced as of August 29, 2011 as per the following schedule.
