Ethiopian Airlines, the fastest growing and most profitable African airline, is pleased to announce the start of daily flights to London starting from July 8, 2014.
Ethiopian started operations to London on April 1, 1973 and has been giving uninterrupted service to and from the city for more than 40 years.
Ethiopian CEO, Mr. Tewolde Gebremariam, said: "We are very happy to finally be able to give daily service to our customers to and from London. Due to the airport congestion at London Heathrow, we were constrained to 6 weekly flights. Now our customers to and from London can enjoy convenient and hassle free daily connections with our state-of-the art B787 aircraft, which offers the ultimate on-board comfort with much reduced noise, largest windows in the sky, dimmable lights, high ceiling and higher cabin humidity."
With daily services to/from London and daily services to/from our 48 African destinations and very short connections through our main hub in Addis Ababa, Ethiopian offers the shortest total travel time to its valued customers whether they travel for business or leisure.
Ethiopian is a global Pan-African carrier serving 79 international destinations across 5 continents with over 200 daily flights and using the latest technology aircraft such as the B777s and B787s.
