The Ethiopian Aviation Academy honors the graduation of 52 Aviation Maintenance Technicians (AMT). Among the graduates eleven are Chadian and one is Liberian. The graduates have undergone an intensive training where 27 are line technicians and the rest 25 are specialized in power plant maintenance.
At the training center, the graduates have gone through a meticulous theoretical and practical training to qualify them as full fledged aviation technicians.
These graduates will bring the total number of maintenance technician graduates in different area of expertise to 2666 since its inception in February, 1967. Among the total number of graduates, 1845 are Ethiopians and 821 are foreign nationals from 48 different countries of the world, mainly from Africa and the Middle East.
The Ethiopian Aviation Academy is committed to provide qualified and competent professionals for Ethiopian in particular and the aviation industry in general for the region. The academy conducts concurrently training programs for pilots, cabin crew, technicians and comprehensive courses in marketing and management.
