Ethiopian Honored with APEX Passenger Choice Award 2018 Addis Ababa, March 16, 2018

Ethiopian Airlines, the largest Aviation Group in Africa and SKYTRAX certified Four Star Global Airline, is pleased to announce that it has won the 2018 APEX Passenger Choice Awards for Best In-Flight Entertainment in Africa at the APEX Asia Conference held from March 13-14, 2018 in Shanghai, China.

This is the fourth time that Ethiopian won APEX Passenger Choice Awards following the “Best Airline in Africa" awards it won for the third time in a row since 2013. Regarding the award, Ethiopian Group CEO Mr. Tewolde Gebremariam said, “We are very thrilled to have won the 2018 APEX Passenger Choice Award for Best In-Flight Entertainment which is the fruit of our continued efforts to offer the best passenger experience possible for our customers. We thank our customers for the vote of confidence which earned us this Award.

“The in-flight entertainment package of our Four-Star rated carrier covers a wide range of entertainment options including video and audio contents as well as games. Our rich video library consists of different blockbuster Hollywood films, Hollywood classics, international films and TV shows, including for children, offering an array of choices for our passengers to enjoy during their flights. Going forward, we will keep looking for ways of updating and improving our inflight entertainment package with customer in mind.”  

Ethiopian has been winning multiple awards for the excellence in its passenger and cargo services. In February alone, the Airline won three awards pertaining to its thriving cargo service.
