Ethiopian Airlines Code Shares with Singapore Airlines - 21 October, 2011

Ethiopian Airlines, the fastest growing African Airline, announces that it will start code sharing with Singapore Airlines, one of the largest carriers in Asia effective November 01, 2011 providing its customers the option of flying to Singapore.

The code share agreement allows passengers of both carriers to have wider choices of services between Asia and Africa. According to the agreement, Ethiopian will code share on Singapore Airlines operating flights between Singapore and Dubai and Singapore Airlines will code share on Ethiopian operating flights between Addis Ababa and Dubai effective November 01, 2011. Ethiopian currently serves Dubai 20 times a week. The agreement will further strengthen the two carrier’s cooperation by enhancing their customer services.

Tickets for the codeshare flights will be open for sale effective immediately. Under this agreement, the two carriers will jointly provide daily flight services between Addis Ababa and Singapore via Dubai and vice versa as per the following flight schedule:
