EAA Graduates 20 Flight Attendants from Mozambique A Dream Realized: The Next Step for a United Africa - Addis Ababa, 08 March 2019

Ethiopian Aviation Academy (EAA), ICAO TRAINAIR Plus member and IATA authorized global training centre, has graduated 20 Cabin Crew trainees from Mozambique, who will serve the newly established Ethiopian-Mozambique airline.

The training is further testimony to the crucial role Ethiopian Airlines is playing in producing trained aviation professionals for indigenous African carriers and supporting the growth of the continent’s aviation industry. 

Regarding the graduation of the flight attendants, Group CEO of Ethiopian Airlines Mr. Tewolde GebreMariam remarked, “We are pleased to once again contribute our share to the growth of Africa’s aviation industry by training 20 flight attendants for Ethiopian-Mozambique airline.

The training of the flight attendants highlights that the role of Ethiopian Airlines in Africa’s aviation is not just limited to establishing indigenous African carriers through joint ventures, but also building their human resource capacity through wold-class training at our IATA authorized aviation academy. As we expand our partnerships across Africa, we will keep supporting African carriers through training and technical assistance.”

For more than seven decades, Ethiopian Aviation Academy has been providing training for pilots, aircraft maintenance technicians, cabin crew, marketing personnel and leadership development cadets from Africa, Middle East and Asia.
