Africa First, Ethiopian 1st B787 Dreamliner Touches down in Accra - 01 September, 2012

Ethiopian Airlines 1st Dreamliner, dubbed "Africa First", touched down in Accra on Saturday, September 1, 2012, making Ghana one of the few countries in the world to receive the most technologically advanced commercial aircraft.

Accra was chosen among the rotating destinations for the Dreamliner, as it is a major and fast growing metropolis in Africa. Ethiopian has daily flights from Accra to Addis Ababa with convenient connections to stations in Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North America.

Now passengers from Accra have enjoyed the ultimate travel experience on-board Ethiopian 1 st Dreamliner, ahead of major cities in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas. The Dreamliner offers passengers unmatched on-board comfort with significantly reduced noise, higher level of humidity, a higher ceiling, the biggest windows in the sky and unique lighting.

Starting 20 September 2012, Ethiopian will deploy the Dreamliner on its daily flight to Washington D.C.
