Age: Not more than 60 years old
Qualifications:
  • Must hold a current and valid JAA/FAA or ICAO ATPL
  • A current B767 type rating
  • Valid Class 1 medical certificate
  • ICAO English level 4 or above
Minimum Flight time
  • 3500 hours jet time
  • 2500 hours Pilot in command on jet aircraft
  • Command time in excess of 500 hours on B767

  • Applicants are required to send their CV along with scanned copy of their substantial documents including but not limited to valid Medical Certificate, valid ATPL, logbook copy that can show total flight hours, license authentication letter from the respective country’s Civil Aviation Authority

  • Position: Contract Admin Expert (1).

Qualification & Experience Requirement

A Minimum of MSc/LLM Degree in Engineering/Law/Quantity Surveying with a Minimum 09 years’ experience in contract administration, claims, and variations on large-scale projects or related areas.                                                                                                             

 N.B: Mandatory expertise in FIDIC contracts and Ethiopian Civil Code/Procurement Law.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Q Oversees all FIDIC-based contract administration, including correspondence, notifications, and documentation flow related to claims, extensions of time (EOTs), and variations.

  • Ensures strict adherence to contractual terms by both the Employer and the Contractor

Language proficiency: Fluent in written and Spoken in English Language.

POSITION: ADJUNCT PROFESSOR OF COST AND MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: PART TIME INSTRUCTOR

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

Ph.D. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field with a focus on management accounting, earned in residence through a full-time program at an accredited institution. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, or equivalent) are highly desirable.

INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:

Practical experience in cost accounting or financial management within the aviation industry or related sectors. Experience collaborating with aviation companies on financial analysis or cost management projects is desirable.

Possess expertise in Cost Accounting Principles: In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles, including cost behaviour, cost allocation, and cost-volume-profit analysis, Understanding of various costing methods (e.g., job order costing, process costing, activity-based costing); Management Accounting Techniques: Familiarity with management accounting practices such as budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance measurement, Expertise in decision-making processes related to cost management and financial performance; Aviation Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the aviation industry, including operational costs, regulatory requirements, and financial challenges specific to airlines and related businesses, Awareness of industry-specific metrics and financial indicators relevant to aviation; Financial Reporting: Proficiency in financial reporting standards and practices applicable to the aviation sector, Ability to analyse financial statements and reports in the context of aviation operations; Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting software and tools commonly used in the aviation industry (e.g., ERP systems, financial modelling software)
