Ethiopian Airlines works with partners and funding organization to support the health system of countries as part of its social responsibility. In fact, Ethiopian aims to engage in the following community care services;

• It covers medical travel costs

  Ethiopian Airlines has been supporting the lives of many individuals by filling the gaps of their financial constraint by covering   their medical travel costs. This has been a great help to the needy patients to access overseas treatment to improve their medical conditions.

• Transports medical supplies

  Ethiopian has been partnering with various local and international aid organizations in transporting medical supplies. For instance, the Pan African carrier has entered a mutual agreement with Airlink to deliver humanitarian aid worldwide by means of passenger and air cargo transportation.

  Ethiopian is one of the 50 airlines involved in Boeing’s Humanitarian Delivery Flights Program. As part of the program, it has been transporting medical donations to hospitals in Ethiopia and other African countries.

• Ethiopian builds clinics

  Ethiopian Airlines will build at least one clinic, every two years to East African countries and to other non-African countries. The clinic will be meant to serve 5000 people.

• Cover medical expenses of very disadvantaged mothers as appropriate,
• Support Ethiopian Cardiac and kidney treatment centers, in-kind.
