Africa’s largest airline group, Ethiopian Airlines, is pleased to announce that it will operate double daily flights to and from Jimma starting 19 June, 2017.

The decision to operate double daily flights to Jimma, the largest city in the South-Western Ethiopia was in considering the ever increasing trade transaction to and from the city. On top of enabling people to people interaction from Jimma and to the rest of the country, the flight will enable investors, tourists and university students among others enjoy seamless connections to and from the historical city to Ethiopian global network.
Ethiopian’s domestic route network is fast spreading all over the country bringing provincial and administrative cities within easy reach of the capital and the region’s commercial centers. In addition, Ethiopian offers daily "Historic Route Service" for tourists to the country’s world famous ancient historic sites of Axum, Bahr Dar, Gondar and Lalibela which showcases obelisks and rock-hewn churches.
Per Vision 2025, Ethiopian aspires to cover more than 26 domestic destinations.
