Ethiopian Airlines, the leading presidential airline, welcomed H.E. Mr. Li Yuanchao, Vice President of People's Republic of China at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport on Thursday, November 17, 2016.

The welcoming was graced by H.E. Ato Demeke Mekonnen - Deputy Prime Minister of the FEDRE, H.E. Ato Seyoum Mesfin - Ethiopian Ambassador to China, Ato Tewolde GebreMariam - Ethiopian Group CEO, Ethiopian Executive Management and Chinese Diplomats here in Ethiopia.

H.E. Mr. Li expressed his appreciation to Ethiopian Airlines for the highest hospitality and consideration rendered to his honour. He also acknowledged Ethiopian unbeatable growth and leading position in Africa’s aviation industry.

Mr. Tewolde GebreMariam Ethiopian Group CEO said that Ethiopian felt honoured in serving H.E. Mr. Li Yuanchao and China at large. Mr. Tewolde added that Ethiopian is grateful in serving China with 31 flights per week. The Group CEO also expressed his gratefulness to the Vice President and the Government of China, in general, for the support to further increase Ethiopian presence in the fastest global economy, China.
